இலச்சினை

க - கல்வி, கற்றல், கற்பித்தல் என்பதனை குறிக்க. (Education, learning and teaching.)

இரு கைகள் -  நம் கைகளில் வைத்திருக்கும் அழியாச் சொத்தாகக் கல்வி இருக்கும் என்பதனை உணர்த்த. (Two hands - Represent that education is an invaluable asset in everyone's hands.) 

ஓலைச்சுவடி - தமிழரின் பல்லாயிர வருட அறிவுப் பொக்கிசம் என்பதனையும், பனை நமது தேசிய மரம் என்பதனையும் குறிக்க. (Palm leaf scriptures - Represent our thousands of years of tressured knowledge and wisdom and our national tree.)   

நெற்கதிர்கள் - கற்றோர் ஒவ்வொருவரும் நெல்மணிகள் போன்றவர்கள்  என்பதைக் குறிக்க. (Paddies - Represent the importance of well learned people.)

வண்ணங்கள் (Colors): 

பச்சை - இயற்கை (Green - Nature)

பழுப்பு - மண் (Brown - Earth)

நீலம் - வான் (Blue - Space)

வெள்ளை - அமைதி (White - Peace)
